Why we end up at the end...
This is a post I wrote in November of 2017. Yet for some reason I did not publish this and for some other reason i stumbled upon it today. So while this post may not be complete in entirety, it remains and would remain my first post under this blog. Here it goes
I love to write and I found my profound love for writing while drafting mails during the initial period of my corporate life.. It was this new love that made me irk when I saw my colleagues write mails without head / tail, badly drafted.., poor formatting and without conclusions. My idea of a drafting a mail is that the reader on the other side should end up coming with less questions on your mail than with responses to your queries. It was due to this mail OCD that I ended up drafting my good friends / colleagues mails. Little did I know that it would lead to a bad habit where I would have to end up picking others work either they were bad at it / the firm was bad at retaining people / I was just a workaholic.
I guess I just worked a lot....
Why did I work lot more than what my other colleagues did ? The answer to this very profounding question lay in my personal life and the constant struggle within to be accepted by people around.
